The Role

Seeking a Legendary Account Manager

Do you want to make the world a better place? And work from anywhere in the world?

Our remote team is looking for another team member – a legendary account manager – who will help us with our purpose: to help good businesses become better brands.

The Account Manager Role

We are growing! Your job as our awesome new Account Manager is to help plan and oversee projects within our agency. 


You will liaise with clients and our team to make sure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and delightfully awesome!


Working closely with the leadership team, you will help the agency run smoothly day to day, and our customers keep coming back for more.

  1. Ensure the timely delivery of our agency deliverables using our internal project management software: ClickUp.com
  2. Project managing the creative team to ensure everything happens comfortably on time. 
  3. Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly project updates with the client
  4. Prepare reports on account status
  5. Handle new client enquiries
  6. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  7. Serve as a central point of contact for customer account management matters
  8. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  9. Develop trusted relationships with key accounts


Previous experience working at an agency is preferred but not essential.

The Sponge is 100% remote with our team all around the world. You must already thrive as a digital nomad for this role. It must be restated, culture fit comes first, so be your detailed self and demonstrate your alignment in a cover letter to us before anything else.
