I started my business to make as much money as possible, doing cool projects. Didn’t matter what brands we worked for, so long as the money was good. But that was 20 years ago.

My purpose moment happened in late 2015 and caused a seismic shift in my business – a purpose shift. I am immensely grateful for it, unexpected as it was, and for who I’ve become as a result.

But this is not about me. Because I love the tribe of purposeful people I continue to meet and be inspired by. So many awesome humans with purpose driven businesses. Some who have purpose shifted theirs too.

20 years is a short time in the scheme of things. Many multigenerational family businesses have a purpose shifter at the helm, who has changed their course.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with some. But there must be dozens more that I have not had the privilege of learning about yet, to hear their story and be inspired.
