What Does Good Collaboration Really Take?
What does good collaboration really take?
It’s day 11 of my GratitudeChallenge and today I’m grateful for collaboration. Even more, for what I’m learning about it.
It’s been a focus for the past 12 months, for GoodNorth, and recently at The Sponge.
First lesson, it’s easy to let a scarcity mindset get in the way: Ego, fear of loss of money, loss of control, etc.
But this limiting thinking really chokes the life out of an opportunity to do something great.
For good collaboration I’ve found it requires an abundance mindset and the following:
?? Common Goal: Clearly defined outcome and deadline, that all partners desire and agree on.
?? Alignment: Shared purpose and values, which establishes a platform of trust.
?? Communication: Frequent, open, and face to face, to really harness the power of the mastermind.
?? Openness: The willingness to listen and surrender to the best idea or methodology.
?? Generosity: Giving without restraint, knowing there will be abundant karmic returns.
I am grateful for those who teach me how to be better.
I’m #grateful for the awesome collaboration partners I’m working with now, and for those I will.
Because we can do so much more good together!
What have you learned about good collaboration?
